The CW has released a sneak peek clip and promo for Supernatural season 9, episode 2, titled “Devil May Care.”
First, the sneak peek clip featuring Sam, Dean, and Kevin in the Men of Letters bunker:
According to the synopsis for Supernatural season 9, episode 2 “Devil May Care,” Dean will reveal to Sam that he has Crowley locked in the trunk of the Impala, as we learned in the season premiere.
Kevin, however, “freaks out when he sees the King of Hell, but Sam and Dean convince him that they need Crowley to find the demons on Earth,” as we see in the above clip.
As the brothers deal with the captive King of Hell, “Abaddon re-emerges and plans to take over Hell.” This should come as no surprise with the current power vacuum in Hell and Abaddon’s words to Crowley in the season 8 finale about a regime change.
We also have the promo that aired after the season premiere last night with more Abaddon:
We can see that the Winchesters won’t be taking Abbadon’s bid for leadership lying down, as they confront her and what looks like the demons she’s recruiting.
It also looks like we’ll be seeing more complications of Sam’s angelic possession, as Ezekiel appears to take over Sam in the promo.
