At the CW Upfront presentation, the network announced Supernatural will be doing an animated crossover with Scooby-Doo next season.
Supernatural, which is well known for its boundary-pushing meta episodes, will continue that tradition in season 13. The Winchester brothers will go animated to team up with Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Freddy and Velma to solve a mystery.

No other details were revealed, such as when the episode will air or how the crossover will come about.
This won’t be the show’s first foray into the animated, as Supernatural: The Animation adapted the show’s first season in 2011.
Supernatural‘s 13th season will air Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW this fall.
