The CW has released a poster and video congratulating Supernatural on its two People’s Choice Awards.

Supernatural won Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show for the second year in a row, and the SPNFamily won Favorite TV Fan Following. Stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles were on hand to present the award for Best Band and took the time to give a brief acceptance speech for their award.

The CW first released a poster congratulating both Beauty and the Beast and Supernatural for their wins:

The network has now also released a video congratulating the show on its wins, including new footage from upcoming episodes:

Both Padalecki and Ackles were also nominated for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor, but Nathan Fillion won that category.

Supernatural beat out Doctor Who, Once Upon a Time, The Vampire Diaries, and The Walking Dead for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show and Glee, Pretty Little Liars, Once Upon a Time, and The Vampire Diaries for Favorite TV Fan Following. See a complete list of the winners here.

There was controversy after the 2012 People’s Choice Awards when Supernatural won three awards, including Favorite Network Drama, but Padalecki and Ackles were not invited to the ceremony and ended up giving their acceptance speech in a pre-recorded video that aired during the red carpet coverage rather than during the ceremony itself.
