We’ve learned that Supernatural showrunner Sera Gamble is on her way out as chief writer-producer, and a familiar face will  be taking over the reins.

From EW:

The veteran Friday night drama series is losing current chief writer-producer Sera Gamble. Instead, Jeremy Carver is coming back to take the reins. Carver worked on the show for three previous seasons between 2007 and 2010. He also ran up Syfy’s Being Human, which was recently renewed.  While Supernatural still doesn’t have an official pickup yet for a eighth season, networks don’t change captains on a boat they’ve decided to sink.

So what do you think about this change in leadership on Supernatural? Do you think that this means there will definitely be a season 8?
