REVISED CW PRIMETIME LISTINGS FOR MAY 17, 2013 (ALL TIMES ET)

Friday night has been something of a revolving door for The CW this year, with the only constant being third year spy drama Nikita, which originally started the season at 9:00 and later moved to 8:00, where it currently airs. Other shows paired with Nikita this season have included America’s Next Top Model, Arrow, The Carrie Diaries, and Cult.

This schedule change also echoes CW Friday nights from last season when Nikita and Supernatural were paired up with premieres. However, due to its consistently strong ratings on Fridays over two seasons, the network moved Supernatural out of the Friday slot and back to mid-week, pairing it with the now-highest rated show on the network, first year superhero drama Arrow.

Supernatural‘s Wednesday night ratings have been consistent and among the highest for the network, alongside Arrow and The Vampire Diaries.

Supernatural is also The CW’s longest-running show as it concludes its eighth season and has already been renewed for a ninth. The show about demon-hunting brothers is also the last remaining holdover from the network’s era as The WB.

Supernatural airs new episodes Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET.
