Check out a batch of promo stills from Supernatural episode 8×20, titled “Pac-Man Fever” and featuring the return of Felicia Day.

According to the synopsis, Day’s fangirl hacker Charlie Bradbury returns in this episode because she has stumbled onto a case on her own. This should be a fun twist since in Charlie’s previous two appearances, she was caught in the crossfire of cases the Winchesters were working.
However, rather than have Charlie continue relying on the Winchesters for help, “Dean decides it’s time to teach Charlie how to be a hunter-in-training.” One of the images above shows Charlie and Dean in FBI disguises, so it looks like Dean will be showing Charlie some of the Winchesters’ favorite tricks. But while they are “happy to see ‘her highness,’ the boys suspect Charlie is hiding something; a secret that could get her killed.”
Meanwhile, Dean is “[c]oncerned about the physical toll the second trial took on Sam,” so he “benches his brother from hunting until he heals up.” Though it’s unclear what exactly the trials are doing to Sam, the impact has clearly been severe so far — he’s been coughing up blood among other side effects.
“Pac-Man Fever” airs Wednesday, April 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
