In these images, we see mostly shots of Sam and Dean dressed up in their FBI guises as they investigate a murder. The brothers will bookend the episode, which will feature a vast majority of “found footage” a la Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project.

We reported earlier on the episode synopsis:

A UNIQUE EPISODE OF SUPERNATURAL — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a bizarre murder in a college town. Close on the tail of their suspect, they bust into an apartment to find two dead bodies and a laptop cued up to some disturbing video footage. The footage begins with Brian (guest star Leigh Parker), Mike (guest star Brandon W. Jones) and Kate (guest star Britni Sheridan) hearing about an unusual animal attack in their town and the rest of the story is revealed through their eyes. Sam and Dean become unknowing participants in a unique student film. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (#804).

Supernatural showrunner Jeremy Carver also warned us that “Bitten,” while having a similar style to that of the season 3’s “Ghostfacers,” will not play up the humor. Instead, the three teen actors featured in the footage will carry the episode.

“Bitten” will air on Wednesday, October 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
