Supernatural season 10, episode 22, “The Prisoner,” airs tonight, as Dean goes on a revenge-fueled rampage.

The Road So Far

Rowena was unable to make progress translating the codex, so Sam called Charlie in for help. He revealed that he was doing this behind Dean’s back, and despite Charlie’s discomfort with that, she agreed to help. Castiel also came in to keep an eye on Rowena and Charlie. Rowena, though, still got under Charlie’s skin, pushing her to flee from their safe space.

Meanwhile, Sam and Dean worked a murder case that tied back to the Stynes. Dean captured one and locked him up in the bunker dungeon. The Styne revealed that the original name of the Stynes was Frankenstein and that the Book of the Damned was indestructible. He later escaped and tracked Charlie down to a motel.

Dean confronted Sam about the Book, but this was cut short by a call for help from Charlie. Though the Winchesters told her to give the Stynes whatever they wanted, she refused — and by the time the Winchesters reached her, it was too late.
