Supernatural season 10, episode 20, “Angel Heart,” airs tonight, featuring the return of Claire Novak.
The Road So Far
Sam went in search of a codex that Rowena needed to translate the Book of the Damned. It turns out the Men of Letters had obtained the book and locked it up behind a pretty serious spell that caused those exposed to commit suicide. Dean joined Sam and ended up affected by the spell. He was subjected to a hallucination of Purgatory and Benny. Dean, however, made his way back to reality in time to save Sam from bleeding out in an effort to open the box containing the codex.
Meanwhile, Metatron and Castiel went on a road trip in search of Cas’ grace. Metatron, though, double crossed Cas and in the process recovered the Demon Tablet. Cas was at least able to recover his grace.

“CLAIRE NOVAK RETURNS — When Claire Novak (guest star Kathryn Love Newton) gets a lead on her mother, Amelia (guest star Leisha Hailey), who has been missing for years, Castiel (Misha Collins) asks Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to help her. Castiel feels guilty for what he did to the Novak family and wants to make amends by reuniting Claire with her mom. However, when they find out what took Amelia, they realize there is a chance Claire may not get her happy ending. Steve Boyum directed this episode written by Robbie Thompson (#1020).”
