It looks like Kara Zor-El will be returning for another season, as CBS says it will likely renew its freshmen series, which includes Supergirl.

According to Deadline, CBS CEO Les Moonves told Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference today that the network will likely renew most of its new series.

“We have about five new shows on this year,” Moonves said. “Of those five, I believe all five of them will be renewed, and we own four of them.”

This is slightly confusing, as CBS will air seven new series this season — Supergirl, Limitless, Code Black, Life in Pieces, Angel from Hell, Rush Hour and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. The network has already canceled Jane Lynch’s Angel from Hell. Though Rush Hour and the Criminal Minds spinoff have yet to premiere, it seems likely the fifth series Moonves was referring to will come from this pair.

Whatever the case may be, fans of Supergirl should take this as a positive sign that the superhero drama will be getting a second season. Though an official announcement of renewal hasn’t been made yet, this makes sense, as Supergirl‘s ratings have hovered around the network’s average since its highly-viewed pilot.

Supergirl will be crossing over with The Flash later this month, as Grant Gustin will appear on an episode of Supergirl titled “Worlds Finest.” We discussed how this crossover is likely to happen here.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist (Kara Zor-El/Supergirl), Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), Mehcad Brooks (James Olsen), Jeremy Jordan (Winn Schott), David Harewood (Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onzz), Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant) and Peter Facinelli (Maxwell Lord).

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
