Supergirl season 1, episode 3, “Fight or Flight,” airs tonight, introducing Lucy Lane as well as one of Superman’s enemies, Reactron.

Previously

After her efforts to save a tanker from exploding resulted in an oil spill, Supergirl became a media punching bag. Cat Grant demanded James Olsen use his connection to Superman to get an interview with Supergirl. Meanwhile, Kara decided to do some repair work on her image with the help of James and Winn.

James revealed to Kara that he’s struggling with his sense of identity; he moved to National City to spread his wings and find out who he is outside of his connection to Superman, but now he has become linked to Kara/Supergirl. Kara, though, offered him some advice: Accepting the help of others is an honor, not a weakness.

Finally, one of Astra’s lackeys kidnapped Alex. When Supergirl came to rescue her, Astra confronted Kara. After trying to recruit her, Astra decided to kill Kara but Hank Henshaw and his Kryptonite knife drove her off. Back at the DEO, Alex revealed an AI that looked like Alura to Kara while we saw Hank Henshaw’s eyes glow red.
