The overnight ratings are in, and Supergirl had a solid debut after its move from CBS to The CW.

Supergirl scored a 1.1/3 rating in the Adults 18-49 demo and 3.02 million total viewers, reports TVByTheNumbers. This tied it with Fox’s Gotham in the demo, though Gotham edged out Supergirl in total viewers with 3.35 million.

As expected, this is a much lower rating than the show scored on CBS. The season finale on CBS scored a 1.3/4 in the 18-49 demo with 6.11 million viewers. However, it is a solid number for The CW.

With these numbers, Supergirl currently stands as the network’s second highest rated show behind The Flash, whose season premiere garnered a 1.3/5 and 3.17 million total viewers.

In contrast, Arrow‘s season premiere received a 0.7/3 in the 18-49 demo and 1.89 million viewers. The final Arrow-verse show, Legends of Tomorrow, premieres on Thursday.

Supergirl‘s second season premiere introduced Clark Kent/Superman (played by Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Hoechlin) as well as Lena Luthor, sister of Lex Luthor (played by Merlin‘s Katie McGrath). Read our review of the episode here.

It’s worth keeping in mind that overall ratings have been declining in network television for years, and The CW seems less invested in Nielsen numbers than the other networks, as it has renewed shows many pundits predicted would be canceled based on their numbers.

The CW is highly invested in digital content, including streaming on its app and its digital platform, CW Seed. Though CW shows will no longer stream on Hulu, they can be found on The CW app the day after airing.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
