Tonight’s episode of Supergirl, titled “Bizarro,” will see Kara fighting her mirror image. We pick five things we’re looking forward to watching play out.

Bizarro Girl

In this episode, Kara will face Maxwell Lord’s Jane Doe, who he has groomed to look like but hate Supergirl. She is the CBS’ series version of a Bizarro, whose comic book background we explored here. Maxwell has previously said he doesn’t like the way the media portrays Supergirl as a hero without acknowledging the threat she poses, and Bizarro Girl is clearly his attempt to respond to that belief.

Learning more about Maxwell Lord

By extension of seeing Maxwell Lord’s great experiment come to fruition, it stands to reason we’ll learn a bit more about his motivations in this episode. He’s the type to have a quality villain monologue or two, after all. We have a general sense of why he’s doing what he’s doing, but further insight into the Lex Luthor-ish character would definitely be welcome.

Kara and Adam

This episode is also set to explore the evolving relationship between Kara and Cat’s son, Adam. He asked her out in the previous episode, and Cat gave Kara the night off to go with him. In the clip above, we see the two drinking wine at a bar. Adam is utterly smitten with Kara and Kara is embarrassed but enjoying the attention. It’s pretty adorable.

More of Kara, Alex and Hank

The last episode was a turning point for the relationship between Kara, Alex and Hank/J’onn. Kara and Alex learned about J’onn’s backstory and saw him at his lowest, as well as watched him push through his tragic past. He gave them incredible praise (“Any man would be proud to call your his daughters”), and Kara even hugged him. Every episode now provides more opportunities to see this delightful found family develop.

Reunion of the team

Based on the clip above, the Scoobies will reunite in this episode, after spending a few episodes apart, to work on the issue of Kara’s doppelganger. Winn, it appears, is back on speaking terms with Kara after his rejected confession of his feelings, and both he and James react (Winn a bit warily and James a little too happily) to hearing that Kara is going out with Cat’s son.
