Previously

Maxwell Lord set off a series of bombings through National City to test Supergirl and hopefully learn her identity, though there was no evidence tying him to the terrorist attacks. When Supergirl confronted him, he revealed that the games were just beginning, which gave off some serious Lex Luthor vibes.

Meanwhile, Eliza Danvers revealed to Alex and Kara that Jeremiah Danvers worked for the DEO and Hank Henshaw; he volunteered himself and his research on Superman in exchange for the DEO leaving Kara alone. However, Eliza did not trust the DEO’s version of her husband’s death, which said he died in a plane crash. Alex and Kara are now determined to find out the truth behind Jeremiah’s death.
