In perhaps one of the oddest additions out of any of the Super Smash Bros. 4 characters, Nintendo has added a character from a Wii exercise game.

The character added into the fighting mix is none other than the Wii Fit trainer.

From the trailer below, it appears as though she will use her karate kicks to pulverize Mario and friends.

Watch her announcement trailer below.

The footage above shows Mario, Link, and Kirby doing the Tree Pose, a staple of Yoga exercises, with the Wii Fit trainer on screen. After coming out to greet the bunch, she begins to lay the smackdown on them using her kick jabs and kicks.

Her final smash is shown in the trailer. It seems as if she is able to create multiple 2D versions of herself that span the entire arena to attack enemies.

The news of the Wii Fit trainer comes from the official website for Super Smash Bros. 4, which was launched by Nintendo today.

The other shocking character that joined the brawl of Super Smash Bros. 4 was none other than Capcom’s Mega Man.

Alongside Mega Man came Animal Crossing‘s Villager. Villager will fight using mainly their bug catching net and, presumably, their limb

Super Smash Bros. 4 releases for the Wii U and 3DS sometime in 2014.
