Nintendo’s beloved Wii U game Super Mario Maker is getting a handheld installment later this year on Nintendo 3DS.

During their latest Nintendo Direct on Thursday, the video game maker announced that their Super Mario world builder is coming to the 3DS on December 2, 2016.

The game has been a big hit on the Wii U. It lets players create side-scrolling Super Mario worlds based on four classic Super Mario games.

Super Mario Maker’s success comes from the fact that the game is very quirky. It lets you have a massive amount of control over the levels you want to create and offers lots of fun surprises.

Adding to the fun, players can upload their creations for other players to enjoy. If you haven’t checked it out yet, we highly recommend it!

The game initially launched on Wii U last September. Since then, Nintendo has regularly added new features and objects to enhance the world-building.

Here’s a trailer for the Wii U installment:

Nintendo did not share any additional details about Super Mario Maker on Nintendo 3DS today. We presume it’ll have most of the same features that the current Wii U game holds. We also expect the 3DS game to be able to play all the Super Mario Maker worlds created on the Wii U.
