2017 is going by so quickly, we’ve blinked and it’s nearly halfway over! Here is a list of summer movies we are (im)patiently waiting to come out this time next year!

May 4 – ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

The plot is still unknown at this time, but along with the regular Avengers crew will be the favorites from Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange!

May 11 – ‘Life of the Party’

From the hilarious brains of Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone comes a new movie that co-stars a host of other funny and talented people such as Maya Rudolf, Gillian Jacobs, and Julie Bowen.

May 18 – ‘Slender Man’

There isn’t much news on this upcoming movie, but based on the fictitious story of the tall, faceless murderer of children the movie takes the story from, this will be a creepy one.

May 25 – ‘Star Wars: Han Solo’

Like any Star Wars movies, the plot is very under wraps. But the young Han Solo will be played by Alden Ehrenreich, with Donald Glover and Woody Harrelson as co-stars.

June 8 – ‘Ocean’s Eight,’ ‘Bumblebee’

Ocean’s Eight is the upcoming all-female heist comedy that is a spin-off from the Ocean’s Trilogy. The film has an incredible cast including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, and Awkwafina.

Transformers Bumblebee will also star in its own spin-off solo film.

June 15 – ‘The Incredibles 2’

The long (and I mean long) awaited sequel to the beloved Pixar film is finally coming June of 2018.

June 22 – ‘Jurassic World 2’

Not much is known yet about this sequel, but as long as Chris Pratt stars (he does) we know this film is a must see.

June 29 – ‘Deadpool 2,’ ‘Tag,’ ‘Barbie’

June 29, 2018 is a busy day for movies! The highly anticipated Deadpool 2 will be released along with a comedy Tag, about a decades long game of tag between a group of friends (the cast hasn’t been confirmed but Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner and Tracy Morgan are listed, along with rumors of Will Ferrell and Jack Black). Barbie is a live action film about the classic doll suddenly thrown into our real world. Amy Schumer was apart of the project but sadly had to step away because of scheduling conflicts.

July 4 – ‘The Purge 4’

Purge 4 takes us back to how this terrible Purge event first came to be. Sounds like the perfect July 4th weekend movie.

July 6 – ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp,’ ‘The Spy That Dumped Me’

An Ant-Man sequel is finally coming to the big screen along with a new action-comedy starring Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis.

July 13 – ‘The Nun,’ ‘Hotel Transylvania 3’

A spin-off from The Conjuring 2, this horror film is about a demon nun. Need I say more? And Hotel Transylvania 3 takes our favorite cartoon vampire family on a cruise.

July 27 – ‘M:I 6 – Mission Impossible’

Another Mission Impossible is coming our way with plenty of crazy stunts and dramatic entrances by the one and only Tom Cruise.

Aug 3 – ‘The Predator,’ ‘Holmes and Watson’

The Predator is an upcoming addition to the Predator franchise, while Holmes and Watson is a comedic take on our favorite detective duo, starring Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Ralph Fiennes, and Hugh Laurie.

Aug 10 – ‘Meg,’ ‘Scarface,’ ‘Amusement Park’

Meg is the classic summertime movie about a 70-foot shark that’ll probably have you thinking twice about going to the beach. The new remake of Scarface is coming to theaters by the hands of the Coen Brothers, and Amusement Park is an upcoming Paramount animation with voices from Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Jeffrey Tambor, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis and John Oliver.

What summer movie are you most excited to see?
