Mike and Robert are learning to work together, but a disagreement about winning the case may derail that relationship, tonight on Suits season 5, episode 4, “No Puedo Hacerlo.”

As we’ve seen in previous episodes this season, Mike wants to be considered a partner, an equal, on this case with his future father-in-law. Robert Zane is not about to let that happen so easily. Despite Jessica stepping in last week to demand he treat Mike with respect, Robert still believes he is all-knowing.

If Robert does get shown up by Mike tonight — and it is very well possible he could — we don’t think he will take kindly to it. Robert is in the unique position of being able to give Mike hell, and then when everything comes crashing down, to step away from the problem. He isn’t Harvey or Jessica or Louis, who feel protective of him (because he is a part of the firm.) But tonight will be a strong indication of how the rest of Mike and Rachel’s engagement, and life, will be like.

The synopsis for tonight’s episode points to Harvey’s uncertainty:

“Harvey steps outside his usual area of expertise, in order to take a case from a client who has a special tie to the firm. Mike and Zane work their class-action case together, but Mike learns they have different ideas about what constitutes a win — for themselves, and for their clients. And Donna counsels Louis on the best way to settle a feud.”

In this ‘Suits’ episode: lots of Robert and Mike.

We don’t hate it.

Suits season 5, episode 4, “No Puedo Hacerlo,” airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on USA Network.
