We had just one week off, Suitors, but it felt like an eternity. Suits is all new with season 4 episode 4, “Leveraged” tonight at 9 pm on USA Network.

Based on the promo, Mike wants to win, but he might be going too far to do it. He betrays Donna (say it ain’t so!), sets Rachel off, and has Harvey blowing steam through his ears.
Mike Ross is making questionable judgement calls all over this episode – and this season, it seems. In the promo video released by TV Guide, his relationship with Rachel seems to be fracturing under the stress this case has brought both of them, both professionally and personally. Mike “strategically” lied to Louis and ended up hurting him. Rachel however, on Louis’ side, does not appreciate how insensitive he was in order to achieve his end goal.
Mike’s behavior this season seems to almost be the antithesis to Harvey’s character development last season. Where he was becoming a well-rounded human, complete with fulfilled professional and personal lives (Scottie, we wish we missed you), Mike is devolving. Becoming grouchy and cutthroat, Mike is no longer the doe-eyed, marijuana-toting, bike-rider we met in the pilot.
The official synopsis for ‘Leveraged’:
“Having lost his partner on the inside, MIKE moves to a hostile takeover of Gillis Industries. On the other side, HARVEY and LOUIS pull out all the stops to make sure they win this takeover fight, and things take a personal turn. Meanwhile, JESSICA and MALONE come face-to-face with SEAN CAHILL, the attack dog with the weight of the SEC behind him, bent on bringing the firm down.”
