If you haven’t heard of this movie, or know the book by Jeff Bauman and Bret Witter that it’s based on, you’re going to want to watch this.
This film, directed by David Gordon Green, tells Bauman’s story. From why he was at the Boston Marathon that tragic day, to what he was able to do to help police identify and hunt down the men responsible, and finally to his own rehabilitation and recovery.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Jeff Bauman, while Tatiana Maslany, known for her outstanding work on Orphan Black, plays his girlfriend, Erin Hurley. The pair stand out in this trailer, and we are anxious to see this film in theaters this fall.
