Tuscaloosa comes from Philip Harder, and will star The 100‘s Devon Bostick and Stranger Things‘s Natalia Dyer.
It’s a big week for Stranger Things fans. Not only has the second season just dropped on Netflix (and Twitter is already rampant with spoilers, beware), but Natalia Dyer (Nancy) has been cast in a promising-sounding new movie!

Via Deadline, we’ve learned that she’ll star opposite The 100 alum Devon Bostick in Tuscaloosa, a 1970s indie drama based on the W. Glasgow Phillips book of the same name.
Tuscaloosa follows Bostick’s character Billy Mitchell, who works as a groundskeeper at his father’s mental asylum. When Billy falls in love with one of his father’s patients, played by Dyer, he “sets in motion a romance that could end in tragedy for both of them.”
The movie is written and directed by Philip Harder, and also stars The Man in the High Castle‘s Tate Donovan.
Both Stranger Things and The 100 are currently streaming on Netflix. Devon Bostick can also be seen in Bong Joon-Ho’s critically acclaimed Okja, which is likewise available on the streaming platform.
