There’ll be some new faces around town when Stranger Things season 4 premieres on Netflix.

The wait for an all new season of Stranger Things has been a long time coming. And while the series has yet to announce an official release date for season 4, Netflix has just provided some pretty big casting news sure to get you excited for the new season.

On Wednesday (June 9), the online streaming giant announced that actors Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien have all joined the cast of Stranger Things season 4.

The series took to its official Twitter account to shed some light as to who each of the aforementioned newcomers will play.

To start, Myles Truitt will take on the role of Patrick— a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent, and a good life. Shocking events, however, send his life spiraling out of control.

Next up, Regina Ting Chen will take on the role of popular guidance counselor Ms. Kelly. Ms. Kelly cares deeply for her students— especially for the struggling the most.

Meanwhile, Grace Van Dien joins Stranger Things season 4 as Hawkins’ high lead cheerleader, Chrissy. She’s the most popular girl in school, but underneath her seemingly perfect surface lies a dark secret.

Finally, Amybeth McNulty is set to take on the role of Vicky— a cool, fast talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes.

McNulty’s involvement with the series holds an extra special significance to the Duffer Brothers, who revealed in an all new video announcing her casting that they’re huge fans of LM Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables.

McNulty, who is no stranger to Netflix, played the titular plucky redheaded orphan in Anne With An E— the streamer’s gritty adaptation of the beloved Canadian children’s series.

“W read the books when we were kids, we loved the miniseries. That’s why we had Hopper reading to his daughter, to El Anne of Green Gables. We also are big fans of Anne with An E, and we loved Amybeth McNulty’s portrayal of Anne and so we’ve been dying to work with her ever since,” said Matt Duffer.

Currently, there’s still no word on when we might expect to see Stranger Things season 4 debut via Netflix.
