Rumor has it, there will be some new faces in Hawkins in Stranger Things season 3. Here’s who’s joining the cast.

That Hashtag Show is reporting that casting is currently in progress for three new recurring characters to join the ever growing cast of Stranger Things. Details about season 3 are slim to none, so far, so if these character descriptions hold true, this is some of the first information we have to speculate with!

The cast of Stranger Things grew in unexpected and great ways in season 2, and we can’t wait to see how the world expands in future seasons. For season 3, these are the characters that will potentially be coming to the streets of Hawkins, according to That Hashtag Show:

Major Larry Kline – A classic, ’80s style slick politician. Described as pathetic and driven only by his own interests. A casting call has gone out for a male, age 40s to 60s.

Bruce – A morally compromised news reporter in his 50s. Described as outwardly sexist, overweight and bedraggled.

Patricia Brown – A casting call has gone out for a woman in her 70s. Reportedly, Patricia will spend a lot of time tending to her garden and offering advice to the neighborhood kids.

We can already see these characters fitting right into the world of Stranger Things. Given everything that’s happening in the town, it makes perfect sense that political drama would be ramping up, followed by an intense news cycle. Also, we can totally see Dustin and Patricia becoming besties.

Are you excited for these characters to join ‘Stranger Things’ season 3?
