Netflix dropped the first Stranger Things season 2 trailer in front of the biggest audience possible.

The first look at the highly-anticipated sophomore season debuted during the third quarter of the Super Bowl. Netflix also shared the air date: Stranger Things 2* will be released October 31, 2017 (Halloween!). Watch the trailer below:

In a statement, Netflix says the Eggo footage is from a real commercial that aired in the 1980s.

Stranger Things season 2 will clock in at nine episodes long. “A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins,” a new synopsis reads.

*On YouTube and in a press release, Netflix is calling this “Stranger Things 2” as opposed to “Stranger Things season 2” — interesting!
