Stranger Things 3 is officially in production, and to celebrate the return of our faves from Hawkins, Indiana, Netflix released a short clip to tease the next chapter of the story.
The next chapter of the Stranger Things saga is still a while away. While we all bemoan our past selves for blowing through Stranger Things 2 so quickly, Netflix has provided us with a short video to hopefully help ease the time between seasons.
Production recently started on the new season, so to celebrate, Netflix shot a quick video of the cast–both the returning favorites and some of the new members like Carey Elwes–coming together for what appeared to be the first table read for the new season.

The clip is, understandably brief with zero info about Stranger Things 3. It makes sense, of course, but we can’t help ourselves from watching this over and over to see if we can uncover even the tiniest hint about next season.
This video is clearly meant to keep us all, essentially, in the dark. We don’t even get a full view of most of the actors from the show until the very end where we see actor Priah Ferguson who won our hearts as Lucas’ little sister, Erica. She pushes the camera away, and the clip ends with an upside-down image (of course) of the cast at the table read.
The fact that Netflix can release a video that basically just informs fans that everyone is back at work and we all flock to the video is evidence of how thirsty we all are for Stranger Things 3. It’s a show unlike anything else, and the story is so engaging that it’s just impossible to slowly work your way through the series. So, since most of us watched all of Stranger Things 2 on its opening day, we are all so pumped that the cast and crew are back at work, creating more amazing episodes for us to watch.
An official release date hasn’t been set for the new season of Stranger Things, but we’ll be updating you as new info gets released!
