While talking to press at a preview screening of series opener “Asylum of the Daleks,” Steven Moffat has revealed the titles of two more episodes in series 7.

Blogtor Who attended the event, where the Doctor Who showrunner and Sherlock co-creator revealed that episode 4 will be titled “The Power of Three,” while the Pond’s swansong in episode 5 is called “The Angels Take Manhattan.”

A couple of weeks ago rumors suggested that the Part 1 finale would be called “The Angels Wept” and episode 4 was reportedly called “Cubed.” Of course, in the world of Doctor Who, titles change all the time (in the past, they’ve been shifted as late as broadcast week) – but it looks like The Moff has settled on these for now. With those two added to the list, we now have the titles of all five episodes in series 7 Part 1. They are as follows:

– “Asylum of the Daleks”
– “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship”
– “A Town Called Mercy”
– “The Power of Three”
– “The Angels Take Manhattan”

Unfortunately, several reports state that it was also announced the show would be returning on Saturday the 1st of September. This contradicts what Matt Smith told fans during a panel at Comic-Con – when the star confirmed the episode would air in August, the world and its auntie was certain that August 25th would be the return date. It seems that the episode has been pushed back a week – or Matt just got his wires crossed!

Following tonight’s BFI screening, Hypable will have a fan’s full spoiler-free review of the series opener in the next day or so – stay tuned!

UPDATE: Reports also indicate that the title sequence will change every week to reflect the themes of each episode.
