The Michael Fassbender-led Steve Jobs has released a new trailer which offers an interesting look at the inner workings of Apple.

The new trailer finds Steve’s importance being called into question by co-founder Steve Wozniak and Apple’s board. As previously reported, Steve Jobs focuses on three moments in the legendary founder’s life: The launch of the original Macintosh, the launch of NeXT, and the launch of the iMac. Take a look:

Over the years it’s been reported that Steve was a polarizing and controlling figure, and those character traits are definitely on display here. It’ll be interesting to see how this movie wants you to see Steve by the end of the film — will he be portrayed as someone who was truly responsible for Apple’s success, or will he be seen as someone who played a smaller role?

Regardless, the film will surely be a treat for Apple fans who crave behind the scenes details about the company. It would’ve been nice to see this film continue further than the unveiling of the iMac — we would’ve loved to see the release of the iPod and iPhone in this film as well, as both products really brought Apple to the next level. Sequel?

Steve Jobs is directed by Danny Boyle with a script from Aaron Sorkin. Co-stars include Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, and Jeff Daniels.

The film opens in theaters this October.
