Sterling K Brown has found his next big screen project.

According to Variety, Emmy Award winner Sterling K. Brown has officially signed on to star in the forthcoming sci-fi feature film, Biosphere.

Plot details for the film are scarce and being kept firlmy under wraps for the time being. As such, there’s also no word on who the This Is Us vet might be playing in the forthcoming feature.

Sterling K Brown joins fellow Emmy Award winning actor Mark Duplass, who is also set to star in the movie.

In addition to starring alongside Brown in Biosphere, Duplass also teamed with the film’s director, Mel Eslyn, to write the script for the sci-fi flick.

The forthcoming movie will mark Mel Eslyn’s feature directorial debut. Previously, she has served as a producer on titles such as The One I Love and Outside In. On the television front, Eslyn also served as director on three episodes of HBO’s anthology series, Room 104, which she also produces.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Biosphere make its way onto the big screen.

As for actors Sterling K Brown and Mark Duplass, both are set to return to the small screen incredibly soon. In Brown’s case, he’ll be back in action as Randall Pearson in the forthcoming season of NBC’s This Is Us. Meanwhile, Duplass can next be seen starring opposite Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in The Morning Show season 2 on Apple TV+.
