Colbert will be live on the biggest nights of the political year during the final stretch of the 2016 Presidential Campaign.

Stephen Colbert will waste no time mocking the upcoming debates between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump beginning this September. The Late Show will broadcast live episodes on the night of the first and third presidential debates (the second debate falls on a Sunday) as well as after the single vice presidential debate.

Colbert’s most recent live shows were during the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in July.

Here are the dates of the upcoming 2016 Presidential debate dates with live Late Show episodes:

–          Monday, September 26 (1st Presidential debate)

–          Tuesday, October 4 (1st and only Vice Presidential debate)

–          Wednesday, October 19 (3rd and final Presidential debate)

In addition to these live shows on CBS, Colbert will also be hosting a live election night special (November 8) on Showtime. While the exact details have yet to be worked out, Showtime CEO David Nevins recently announced that the network is “working hard” to produce a live election night special with Colbert.

Colbert’s regular time slot at the Late Show will be preempted by CBS election coverage, so the host will have some time to spare over at Showtime. According to Nevins, current plans are for Colbert’s special to air at 10 p.m. and be recorded at the Ed Sullivan Theater.

Colbert has previously hosted live election coverage on Comedy Central along with Jon Stewart.
