CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has announced its guest list for its second week beginning September 14.

Colbert’s first week of guests were an interesting mix of Hollywood stars, business people, and politicians. Week two suggests that Colbert wants to have this type of variety on the show long term.

For his second week, Colbert will welcome several major political players including current Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, and possible Presidential contender and current Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden.

The schedule for The Late Show’s second week is as follows:

– 9/14: Emily Blunt; Justice Stephen Breyer; musical performance by The Dead Weather

– 9/15: Jake Gyllenhaal; musical performance by Run The Jewels with TV On The Radio

– 9/16: Kevin Spacey; Carol Burnett with Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer of Broad City; musical performance by and interview with Willie Nelson

– 9/17: Naomi Watts; United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon

– 9/18: Lupita Nyong’o; Sen. Bernie Sanders; interview with and performance by An American in Paris’ Christopher Wheeldon, Robert Fairchild, and Leanne Cope

You can see Colbert’s Week one guests in our previous story (They include the CEO of Tesla, the CEO of Uber, and George Clooney).

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert begins Tuesday, September 8 on CBS.

What do you think of Colbert’s guest choices?

He clearly wants to carry over the political and business side of his Comedy Central show The Colbert Report. The major difference between the shows is that he won’t be playing a character on The Late Show.
