The Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19 premieres March 22. Get ready with these spoiler-free teases from “Stuck” to get your adrenaline running!

Andy narrates the episode:

Much like Grey’s Anatomy the show is narrated by the characters viewers will be watching. Station 19’s premiere episode “Stuck” is narrated by the main character Andy Herrera. And while viewers certainly learn about all of the new characters, it’s a big one for Andy in particular!

A love triangle is introduced:

Like the show it came from, Station 19 has a lot of romance themes right from the get-go. Including a love triangle that is sure to cause a lot of issues for the characters! It’s quickly revealed that Andy has a long history with her ex-boyfriend Ryan who is also a cop they work closely with. As well at the lieutenant of the fire station, Jack Gibson, who Andy has been secretly seeing.

Ben doesn’t like being treated like a newbie:

It’s pretty obvious that Ben is having a hard time fitting in at the station. It’s not as easy as he was expecting it to be and he’s having a hard time relating to some of his new co-workers. It doesn’t help that he can’t seem to stop thinking and acting like a surgeon. Plus, some of Ben’s impulsive habits seem to have followed him to his new job.

Grey Sloan Memorial:

After Captain Pruitt Herrera (Andy’s dad) is involved in an incident during a rescue, the firefighters take a trip to Grey Sloan Memorial hospital. It’s fun to see these two groups mix together, although the trip does lead to some pretty big and bad news for the Herrera family.

Andy & Meredith:

While at Grey Sloan Memorial, Andy and Meredith have even more time to bond. It’s obvious that Andy is being set up to be the Meredith of Station 19. The two characters do have a lot in common and they’re both great female leads. During their interactions on “Stuck” Andy and Meredith are able to bond a little bit more and I hope viewers get to see more of this down the line.
