The Joe Moses One-Man Showses is always an eagerly anticipated event for Team StarKid fans, and Joe Moses returns to Los Angeles next month to bring California “the biggest JMOMS ever.”

We conducted a huge interview with Joe in the lead-up to his first Los Angeles show last year (read it here: part one, part two) and on March 10, Joe will be returning to the El Rey Theatre to bring what he claims to be “the biggest JMOMS ever” to his West Coast fans.

In the year since we spoke to Joe, he has taken his comedy show to varied cities across the United States, appeared in A Very Potter Senior Year, travelled with Team StarKid to Germany, and released a line of Showses merchandise, including a DVD billed as “a full feature length presentation of The Joe Moses One-Man Showses combining the very best of JMOMS from all over the country, with never-seen-before sketches, music, and live comedy.” He also recently confirmed the filming of season 2 of his A Very Potter Musical Snape sketches, The Potion Master’s Corner, and has been nominated for a Shorty Award in the category of comedian.

Though the shows still carry the tagline of “JMOMS,” standing for Joe Moses One-Man Showses – as the production has grown to involve many sketches that feature a rather large and revolving cast – the name has been officially abbreviated to The Joe Moses Showses, “for the sake of honesty.” As well as the participating StarKids – this time, it’s Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, Devin Lytle and Brant Cox – The Joe Moses Showses at the El Rey will feature Glee‘s Warbler favorite Curt Mega, Broadway actress and recent Glee NYADA performer Tessa Netting, the humongous Internet personality that is Grace Helbig of MyDamnChannel, and Jackie Emerson, who played the sly tribute who Katniss nicknamed ‘Foxface’ in a little movie called The Hunger Games.
