Joe Moses of Team StarKid fame will be streaming his Joe Moses Showses sketch comedy performance live from the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Hollywood today.

Coming at the end of the current leg of the Joe Moses Showses summer world tour (Joe’s already hit up New York, Boston, Chicago, and Ann Arbor and will continue on to Europe later in the year), today’s Los Angeles show will be broadcast live on uStream, the first such live internet event for a Showses.

The Joe Moses Showses is an generally an eclectic mix of skits, improv, fandom parodies, songs, and special guests. The current touring performance is an all-new show, featuring, along with Joe Moses himself, Curt Mega of Glee and Tessa Netting, a Broadway star and StarKid associate who has also been featured on Glee. Today’s show at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Hollywood will also feature some special StarKid guests.

The livestream begins at 2pm Pacific time – so that’s 5pm Eastern or 10pm if you’re in London. If you’re in Los Angeles, you can still pick up a ticket to be part of the show’s live audience at Universal Citywalk, otherwise you can head over to uStream to secure your spot to watch the show online.

Live streaming a show has been a long-time goal for Joe – when he spoke to us before his first-ever Los Angeles show 18 months ago, he mentioned really wanting to use this medium to share his show with fans who could not attend in person, so we’re thrilled that it’s finally happening!
