Team StarKid have announced a StageIt livestream for fans to tune into the closing night of their currently-running sketch comedy show, Airport For Birds.
Airport For Birds (and Other Great Ideas), which Team StarKid produced in conjunction with the legendary Second City, has been enjoying an extended run at Second City’s Up Comedy Club in Chicago, but for Team StarKid fans worldwide who have been unable to make it to Chicago to see the show, your chance to see Airport For Birds is here!
Team StarKid will be doing a livestream of the show’s closing performance on March 31. They’ll be utilizing the livestream service StageIt, which allows artists to sell tickets to a one-off performance that fans can view live in their own homes. To watch Airport For Birds, fans will need to purchase a ticket in advance – and StageIt shows do sometimes sell out.
StageIt also offers a tipping service, where watchers can donate more to the artist if they like what they’re seeing. For the Airport For Birds livestream, Team StarKid is offering prizes to their top 10 tippers, including a signed copy of the show’s script, and their top 5 tippers will also be featured in a personalized thank you video from the cast.

See some familiar StarKid faces fly through 90 minutes of sketch comedy, video shorts, and music! So grab the nearest unattended bag, make sure you have your bird-ing pass, and join us LIVE from The Second City’s UP Comedy Club for Airport For Birds (and Other Great Ideas). For the first time, the entire performance will be streamed LIVE! Don’t miss your last opportunity to see this show live and unedited featuring 10 new sketches not featured in the original run!
The cast featured in the final Airport For Birds performance will be Jaime Lyn Beatty, Jeff Blim, Denise Donovan, Brian Holden, Lauren Lopez, Pat Rourke, Meredith Stepien, Daniel Strauss, Nick Strauss and Joe Walker.
You can buy a ticket to watch Airport For Birds on StageIt now. The 90-minute show will take place on March 31, at 7pm local time – though StageIt should recognize your location and convert the time zones for you!
Tickets to see the show live in Chicago are also still available.
