Force Friday is coming back for Star Wars: Episode VIII, The Last Jedi. In making their announcement, Lucasfilm revealed a first look at Rey, Finn, and Poe!

Remember Force Friday for The Force Awakens? It was a global event in which all of the film’s merchandise went on sale around the globe. “Consumerism at its worst,” you might be thinking. True! But since all the merch was for the first new Star Wars movie in a decade, it was a big deal.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi “toys, collectibles, books, apparel and more” will be revealed and go on sale at 12:01 a.m. on September 1, 2017,” Lucasfilm and Disney announced Thursday. We won’t know anything about the merchandise until then, but Lucasfilm says “the line will build on the success of products like Sphero’s BB-8, introducing more innovative technology to bring the characters and stories from the film to life in unique ways.” They’ll also “introduce new characters from the movie in toy form.”

Notably, the Force Friday II announcement includes a photo of a toy box (lol). It’s significant because it includes our very first look at Rey, Poe, and Finn in The Last Jedi:

Hey there, Poe, Rey (with a new look), and Finn!

Though The Last Jedi is only ten months away from release, we’re still waiting for a trailer. We may have to wait until Star Wars Celebration, the annual conference, in April.
