The blooper reel for The Last Jedi not only lets us see some silly on-set antics, but we also get to see just how many takes they did of Carrie Fisher slapping Oscar Isaac.

Surely we all remember the moment in The Last Jedi when Leia demotes Poe after he spearheads an assault to take out a First Order dreadnaught at the expense of several lives. We don’t see the entire exchange between the two, but we do see how it ends: with General Leia slapping Poe’s face. As it would turn out, not only does Carrie Fisher appear to really slap Oscar Isaac, but they had to do approximately ten thousand takes in order to get the scene just right.

Star Wars recently released a blooper reel for The Last Jedi, and it not only showed us a bit of a glimpse into the antics on set, but it also showed just how many times it took to get that slap just right.

Of course, the blooper reel is full of lots of other fun gems like John Boyega and Kelly Marie Tran goofing off on set and Mark Hamill hopping in an X-Wing for old times’ sake. But one of the most adorable moments of the entire thing has got to be watching the cast discover BB-8 in a closet with a tiny, mini version of the droid. We’re definitely gonna need to see the two of them rolling around and saving the world together in future Star Wars movies, right?

We love seeing how much fun the cast had on set. The Last Jedi was a ton of fun to watch, and it’s good to know that they all had just as much fun making the movie–well, except for that one bit where Oscar Isaac had to get slapped a lot.
