While Marvel won’t be appearing at Comic-Con this year, Disney/Lucasfilm has announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will have a massive presence, and plans to fill Hall H to the brim.

Lucasfilm has officially announced that there will be a Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 on July 10. The film will get the pleasure of filling Hall H, with director J.J. Abrams in attendance, along with many other people involved from the film.

There will reportedly be “special guests,” which we imagine will be actors from the film, and they’ve revealed that there will be new footage released from The Force Awakens.

While fans may think it was a given that the studio and film would have a presence at Comic-Con, that wasn’t entirely the case. With Marvel skipping the show this year, it wouldn’t have been a surprise to see Star Wars skipping it as well. But, with The Force Awakens coming out in December, we imagine they may be the biggest panel at the show this year.

The press release also revealed that there will already be merchandising for the film, which doesn’t surprise us, as Lucasfilm has always been incredible at promoting their films via merchandising. But, this could be one film where the merchandise is worth picking up.

Hypable will definitely be at the film’s Hall H panel during SDCC, and we’ll be sure to keep fans up to date on any new footage or information regarding the new Star Wars film. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18, 2015
