U.K. Star Wars fans will be delighted to know that, even though The Force Awakens is still months away, their wait has just been cut short by one day.

The official Star Wars Facebook page can confirm that the movie will be released on December 17, 2015, pushing it one day ahead of its U.S. release.

This means that there are exactly 100 days until we finally get to watch Episode VII!

The Force Awakens will be released in the UK on December 17th. The 100 day countdown starts today!
