Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the first Star Wars film where George Lucas won’t have creative control, but a parody of the new trailer takes a stab at what his version may have looked like.

The above parody of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer is really funny because it’s so true. Pointing a finger at George Lucas and his need to make every image on screen incredibly dense, this trailer is probably a pretty close look at what the teaser trailer may have looked like under Lucas’ supervision.

There are lots of little references that Star Wars fans will definitely recognize, such as the fact the TIE fighters definitely shot first. On a technical scale, it’s impressive that a fan was able to whip this parody up so quickly.
