J.J. Abrams and the cast of Star Wars appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to give absolutely nothing away about The Force Awakens.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! hosted a special Star Wars celebration last night, inviting the major cast members on the show, and sitting down with J.J. Abrams for a chat about the movie.

The night was full of fun tidbits — for one, J.J. Abrams reveals the first spoken word in the movie:

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?

Second, check out this piece of the cast interview, in which Carrie Fisher (allegedly) tells Jimmy how the movie ends:

See the two other parts of the cast interview, where they talk about getting their roles, and the secrecy surrounding the movie.

Harrison Ford also popped up, for a hilarious scripted bit involving a feud with Chewbacca:

Isn’t it great to see Ford so involved with the promotional campaign?

Another of the segments on the show was a parody of The Force Awakens, imagining it as a love story between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega):

This is of course atrocious, but that’s kind of the point: The idea that women should need this kind of marketing in order to care about Star Wars is laughable. It’s nice that we live in a time where comedians like Jimmy Kimmel can legitimately poke fun at the gendering of movie categories.

Finally, check out this hilarious part of the J.J. Abrams interview, where Jimmy asks the question on everyone’s mind…

Yup. They were dead the whole time.

If you want something a little more serious, watch this part of the interview, where Abrams’ love for Star Wars really shines through. Don’t let us down, J.J.!

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ premieres December 18, 2015
