Hunger Games star Sam Claflin is being eyed for one of the starring roles in Star Wars: Rogue One, along with Nightcrawler star Riz Ahmed, who is currently in talks for another role.

Star Wars: Rogue One will be the first Star Wars movie after The Force Awakens, which recently had a new trailer premiere. Rogue One is looking to fill the ranks, as Claflin and Ahmed are reportedly in talks to join the spin off.

Felicity Jones is already set to have a starring role in Star Wars: Rogue One, and we recently found out that the film will be about a group of resistance fighters who get together to steal plans for the Death Star.

Sam Claflin is pretty hot right now, from his role in The Hunger Games films, and he’ll most likely have a leg up on any competition for the male lead, and we think he should definitely get a shot to star alongside the incredible Felicity Jones in Star Wars: Rogue One.

Riz Ahmed starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler last year, as his partner in crime in one of the year’s best films. He was great in the film, but was overshadowed by Jake’s unbelievable performance in Nightcrawler.

Also reportedly joining the cast is Ben Mendelsohn, who has done amazing work throughout his career, and while this would be his big breakout role, Mendelsohn has starred in some massive films, including The Dark Knight Rises, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Killing Them Softly, and The Place Beyond the Pines.

Star Wars: Rogue One will hit theaters on December 16, 2016. It will start shooting this summer in London, and more of the cast should be revealed between now and then.
