The upcoming Star Wars anthology film Rogue One has added actor Forest Whitaker to its ranks.

Whitaker’s role is still unknown, but the actor is reportedly in deep talks. As has been the case for this Christmas’ The Force Awakens, all details about the upcoming Star Wars film are being kept tightly under wraps.

Here’s what we do know: The film will be set in between Episode III and IV. “A band of resistance fighters unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans in the Star Wars Anthology film, Rogue One,” reads the film’s first synopsis.

Lucasfilm has previously announced that Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn are all attached to star in the project. Whitaker will arguably be the biggest actor in the spinoff (so far).

Star Wars: Rogue One is the first in a series of spinoffs which’ll be released in the off years between Star Wars: The Force Awakens, VIII, and IX. Rogue One will be helmed by Gareth Edwards.

The new film enters theaters December 16, 2016 — one year after the release of The Force Awakens.
