The rebels may have met their match when a menacing commander comes to Lothal in Star Wars Rebels season 1, episode 11.
The episode, titled “Call to Action,” focuses on the arrival of Grand Moff Tarkin to Lothal — and the immediate effect Tarkin’s policies have on the crew of the Ghost.
“As public awareness increases around the rebels activity,” Disney says, “they target an important Imperial network.”
The crew of the Ghost is sorely in need of a win after last week’s episode of Star Wars Rebels. When Ezra followed a force-vision to Senator Gall Trayvis, the rebels found themselves betrayed — Trayvis is now a servant of the Empire. Team Ghost managed to escape, but Ezra and Hera in particular found themselves struggling to hang onto their hope for a brighter future.
Two sneak peeks from “Call to Action” make it clear that Tarkin’s arrival means hope will continue to take some serious hits this week.
On the one hand, it’s pretty great to see the rebels’ previous nemeses cringing in front of Tarkin. On the other hand, he’s on their side — and we shudder to think what the Grand Moff will have in store for our plucky crew of rebels.
It’s probably not cake.
