What does movie icon Mark Hamill think of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?

Hamill — who appears to be one of the first A-listers to see and write about the play — just attended a weekend performance of The Cursed Child and seemed to have had a great time. The Luke Skywalker actor tweeted in support of “the eighth story” after getting out of Part 2:

We wonder if he picked up a #KeepTheSecrets button on his way out? Hey Hamill: Has the show inspired you to put together a Star Wars play?

According to Cursed Child star Jamie Parker (Harry), Diane Keaton was also at the show tonight:

J.K. Rowling attended the very first preview performance of Cursed Child, Part 2 roughly ten days ago. The show officially opens at the end of July.

Our early (spoiler-free) thoughts on The Cursed Child aren’t as glowing as Hamill’s.
