Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens teaser trailer is highly anticipated, and a new report suggests that we’ll be seeing the Millennium Falcon firing some blasters right at our screen very soon.

In a new report from Badass Digest, we have a description from a source which gives fans an idea of what to expect when Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens first teaser trailer lands, and apparently it may be quite short. Read the description of the film’s reported teaser trailer below:

“[It’ll] be short. And when I say short, I mean one minute long. It’s going to have The Force Theme played on woodwinds, softly, over flashing images of the main leads, each fading to black. There’s no dialogue, just reveals of the characters. And then the music swells up into a full orchestral piece – perhaps what John Williams recorded this weekend? – and we hear a female voice, likely Daisy Ridley’s, saying “Wake up.” And then the title card appears – Star Wars: The Force Awakens – and we see the Millennium Falcon, firing blasters, coming right at the camera.”

It looks like we may only be getting a one-minute teaser for our first look at Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, which may be a good thing since many people don’t like having too much footage spoiled, but this is our first Star Wars film since 2005, so we figured Disney would want to get as many new fans as possible with the first teaser.

We found out the official title would be The Force Awakens on November 6, so it’s exciting that we’re starting to get some more news for the film, despite it not hitting theaters until December 18, 2015.

Director J.J. Abrams is great at promoting his films, and this description (if legit), looks like it could be a pretty interesting first teaser trailer for The Force Awakens. With all of the swelling orchestral music, and very little character footage, it will be exciting to see the Millenium Falcon flying towards our screens in the next few weeks.

We know that we’ll be getting the film’s first teaser trailer before January, so let us know if you’d be happy with this being our first look at Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

On a related note, there are rumors that this teaser could be shown this week prior to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which hits theaters Friday.
