If you haven’t yet gotten sick of the endless Star Wars: Episode VII casting rumors, have we got a treat for you: more!

The latest Star Wars: Episode VII rumors come to us from Latino Review (who else?). They’ve recently nailed other major casting announcements, including Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. This should be taken with a grain of salt, however, as they’ve gotten at least as many scoops wrong as they have right.

Regardless, their sources are now telling them two new potential casting details. They’re reporting that David Oyelowo (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) went in for some unknown role. They’re also saying that Michael B. Jordan (Chronicle, Fruitvale Station) too went in for a role, but also that he met personally with director J.J. Abrams. These two are fantastic actors, and Star Wars: Episode VII would be better with them in it.

On the positive side, this is the first casting rumor that adds some diversity to the mix. The galaxy far, far away has never been an all-white one, and there’s no reason to guess that should be any different 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The easy guess would be for one of them (unless they are going in for the same role) to be the son of Lando Calrissian, but here’s to hoping they’re a bit more open minded than that being the only option.

On the negative side, well, rumors like this are continuing to pile in. We’d like nothing more than to see some solid Star Wars: Episode VII facts, but as it likely won’t hit theaters until Christmas 2015, no news will likely be here any time soon.
