In the image we can see the film’s new actors John Boyega, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Max von Sydow and Domhnall Gleeson. Within them we can see director J.J. Abrams, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels.

Fans may also notice that R2-D2 is attempting to escape the wooden crate he’s been kept in for the last nine years.

It’s exciting to finally find out which actors will be joining the film and while we don’t know which characters they’ll be playing yet, Abrams reveals that they will be filming in the next couple weeks. We’re bound to find out which actors are playing which characters and it will be great to finally put their faces to the characters that will be joining the previous Star Wars cast members.

We’re very interested to find out who or what Andy Serkis will be playing, considering he’s the king of all things motion capture. He just wrapped playing Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, so it makes us think he may be playing one character which may involve his many talents.

Maybe he’s finally gotten himself a role where his own face will be on screen, but either way we’re very happy to see the highly talented actor joining the new Star Wars film.

Fans may remember Domhnall Gleeson in Deathly Hallows Part 1&2 as Bill Weasley. John Boyega and Adam Driver had both been rumored to be joining the new Star Wars cast.
