Star Trek: Discovery finally delivers its first trailer! Watch the first-look here and get the full scoop on what to expect this fall.

“Your tongue is too human.” That is just one of the great moments from the Star Trek: Discovery trailer! The long-anticipated series will finally premiere this fall on CBS before switching to CBS All Access. From the looks of the trailer, the wait is going to be worth it.

A new poster was also released, starring Sonequa Martin-Green:

“Ten years before Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise…” Cue the chills. The uniforms! The cast! New species! The Klingons! On the edge of Federation Space, it looks like the crew is about to involuntarily engage with the Klingons. CAN WE HAVE THIS SERIES NOW? PLEASE?

Some other exciting news came out of the CBS Upfronts. Star Trek: Discovery will air 15 episodes, expanding the initial order. Additionally, the series will have an after show ala The Talking Dead. The post-show, Talking Trek, will air on TK. No word on a host yet.

Earlier, a first look at the series came in the form of a photo. It features Michelle Yeoh as Captain Philippa Georgiou and Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham.
