The first teaser trailer for Star Trek: Discovery season 4 is here, and it finds your favorite crew members facing a mission unlike any other.

The unknown awaits the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery when Star Trek: Discovery season 4 makes its grand debut.

Set to premiere via Paramount+ later on in 2021, the streamer unveiled the first teaser trailer for season 4 on Monday (April 5).

Series star Sonequa Martin-Green was on hand to debut the exciting new teaser for the series’ forthcoming fourth season as part of Monday’s virtual global First Contact Day celebration.

Fans who missed out on today’s celebration can check out replays of the virtual panels on-demand via the Paramount+ YouTube channel and on Paramount+.

For now, however, we’re sure Discovery fans will want to sink their teeth into the all new teaser trailer, which you can check out below!

When Star Trek: Discovery season 4 debuts, fans will follow along as Captain Michael Burnham (Martin-Green) and the U.S.S. Discovery crew find themselves staring down a threat unlike any they’ve ever had to deal with before.

This time around, both Federation and non-Federation members will feel the sting of what’s about to transpire. Their only hope of a future lies in their abilities to set aside their differences, and work together to confront the unknown elements that await them.

Joining Martin-Green in starring in the series’ highly anticipated fourth season are Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker), Blu del Barrio (Adira) and Ian Alexander (Gray).
