Star Trek Beyond doesn’t hit theaters until this weekend, but Paramount already knows you’ll love it so much that you’ll want to see a fourth.

Paramount, Skydance, and Bad Robot announced a fourth Star Trek on Monday morning. Interestingly, they’ve confirmed from the outset that Chris Hemsworth will be returning to play George Kirk, Captain Kirk’s father who appeared in the first film.

“Chris Pine and cast” are also set to return. According to a synopsis from Paramount, George Kirk will have a big role: “In the next installment of the epic space adventure, Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk will cross paths with a man he never had a chance to meet, but whose legacy has haunted him since the day he was born: his father.”

J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay will write the screenplay. J.J. Abrams and Lindsey Weber will produce through Bad Robot Productions. David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance will executive produce.

As we told you last week, reviews for Star Trek Beyond have been largely positive, with many critics comparing it to the original Star Trek TV series.

Hemsworth can currently be seen in the new Ghostbusters, where he plays the ghost-busting gang’s very dumb secretary. He is also shooting the new Thor: Ragnorak which hits theaters next year.

It’s a good time to be a Star Trek fan! In addition to a great film series, fans are also looking forward to a new television series from CBS and Bryan Fuller.
